Dr. Charles Niemeyer graduated from Duke University School of Medicine and completed his General and Orthopaedic Surgery Residencies at Duke University Medical Center. He is Board Certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and listed as a Fellow with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Niemeyer was the Chief of Medical Staff at Gaston Memorial Hospital in 1989, was a Past-President of the Gaston County Medical Society and has been involved in Medical Mission with Vladimir, Russia since 1993. He served active duty in the U.S. Air Force from 1972-1974.  Dr. Niemeyer sees patients with general orthopaedic problems and has special interest in hip and knee replacements, fracture care, knee arthroscopy, and foot and ankle care.
