Chad Ghorley
Mr. Chad Ghorley is a native of Gastonia. He holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from Montreat College where he earned Magna Cum Laude honors. Mr. Ghorley began his civilian medical career in 1993 as an Emergency Care Technician with Gaston Memorial Hospital. He joined Carolina Orthopaedic in 1996 as a Cast Technician. In 2000 he began his administrative career serving as the Assistant Administrator. He has served in his current position as Practice Administrator since 2004. Mr. Ghorley is a member of the North Carolina Air National Guard in Charlotte, NC where he has served as an Aeromedical Evacuation Technician for 14 years and most recently as a Health Services Administrator with the 156 Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron. One of his greatest accomplishments with the military includes being a team member of the Best C-130 Aeromedical Team and Best All-Around Aeromedical Team in the 2000 Air Mobility Command Rodeo competition. Mr. Ghorley has been awarded many military awards and decorations. In the past, he has been mobilized for Operations Noble Eagle, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom. Mr. Ghorley’s professional affiliations include the Medical Group Manager’s Association, Bones Society, and the North Carolina National Guard Association. Mr. Ghorley is also an active member of the Gaston Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Ghorley is married and has one child. His hobbies include spending time with his family, traveling, and working outdoors.
