Chad Ghorley, Administrator

Chad Ghorley, a native of Gastonia, holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from Montreat College where he earned Magna Cum Laude honors. He began his civilian medical career in 1993 as an Emergency Care Technician with Gaston Memorial Hospital, later joining Carolina Orthopaedic in 1996 as a Cast Technician. After beginning his administrative career in 2000 as an Assistant Administrator, he was promoted to his current position as Practice Administrator in 2004.

Chad is a proud member of the North Carolina Air National Guard in Charlotte where he has served as an Aeromedical Evacuation Technician for 15 years and, most recently, as a MSC Officer with the 156 Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron. One of his proudest military accomplishments was being a team member of the Best C-130 Aeromedical Team and Best All-Around Aeromedical Team in the 2000 Air Mobility Command Rodeo competition. Chad has been awarded many military awards and decorations.

In 2011 Chad was selected as the 2011Administrator of the Year with North Carolina Medical Group Managers Association. This award recognizes a medical group practice administrator affiliated with the North Carolina Medical Group Managers (NCMGM) who has exhibited exceptional leadership management proficiency and enhanced the effectiveness in the delivery of health care in his/her practice and community through a recent, noteworthy achievement.
